Over the years, NetApp developed a tremendous track record in the industry helping their clients manage sophisticated levels of data and were looking to finally get their story told. With a sparse brand presence in the market, they needed to reach C-level execs by cutting the tech-jargon and speaking their language.
The brand ingredients were in place, so I came up with an idea that breathes a whole new life into an already established identity.
I began by trimming their tagline down to it’s essence and reinterpreted it through the “gateway” symbolism of the NetApp logo. The result is a rich visual language, using big-picture notions to convey the practical strength of NetApp solutions across a variety of mediums.
